Affordable Leadwork In Glasgow

Leadwork prices can be dictated by:

Scope: The larger the areas of flashing to fit or existing metal that requires cladding/guttering will mean an increased work time, thus a higher cost.

Condition: If the lead or metal needs repairs from corrosion, rust and damage, the labour time to fix or replace it will obviously be higher.

Material:The type of materials, such as aluminum, zinc, copper and steel, all price differently.

Height: Working from height can mean the installation of scaffolding, lifts, and additional safety equipment – this also comes with a cost.

Architecture: It goes without saying that multiple roof corners, gables, and slopes create additional work for us and, therefore, will reflect on your price.

Pitch: How steep you roof is – steep roofs are dangerous, we use a harness and extra equipment and, as it is more risky, the prices can be steeper to factor this in. Flat roofs are often a little easier for us to work from.

Specialist skills: Expertise when working on old/listed buildings, often specialised knowledge is needed and work may involve traditional methods this again carries a higher price. lder or listed buildings, and roofs with intricate detailing, often require specialist expertise, which can result in higher costs.

Taking this all into account, here are our leadwork costs:
